My absolute favorite Chinese place. As far as I'm concerned, it is head and shoulders above everyone else out there. I travel a lot and go to different Chinese restaurants periodically. Most look very similar to the Girard Wok, but none has matched their service and food. I love this place.Edit: Added photo of store.

GIRARD WOK is one of the few Chinese restaurant I eat at. Miss Sue and her staff are very professional and casual at the same time. The restaurant is always clean and the food is always pleasant to eat... Truly a great place to eat at when in Girard Ohio.

This was by far THE BEST CHINESE takeout I have had in YEARS! So fresh and flavorful was fantastic! I ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan lunch with wonton soup. Everything was absolutely delicious! I will definitely order from here again!

Absolutely hands down the best Chinese food in girard

I had to wait for my phoned-in order an additional 10 minutes because they were extraordinarily busy. The counter person asked me to have a seat, and then offered me my choice of free appetizers to enjoy while I waited. Cream cheese wontons, yum! Their food is always hot, fresh, and tasty EVERY TIME.

I've heard a number of people say that this is the best Chinese food in the area. It might be, but it's perfectly mediocre American Chinese food. There's nothing that really stands out about it - no real positives, no real negatives. I've eaten here dozens of times and will continue to eat here.The food is consistently the same, the prices are pretty good, and they've only screwed up my take out order once out of dozens of times. Not too bad.

Food is great! Lobster fried rice is amazing. Service is good. They get busy and mess up a little but they're more than happy to fix it.

I went there an hour before closing this past Monday evening and got the seafood special under "chef specials". It was LOADED with tasty lobster, scallops, shrimp and crab with some mini corns and carrot in a white sauce/broth. The order was up within ten minutes and the proprietors and workers were very friendly. If you want Chinese near Niles or Girard, go this this place or Main Loon (closed on mondays). All the other Chinese takeout near these two towns inside of 5 miles SUCKS compared to these two...

Very nice family owns the place the food is always hot and serve fast whether it's pick up or carry out or dine in you can taste the difference in the flavors of the meats and it's always clean been quite busy it's a secret place down there in Girard stop by

The food here is mostly good however the quality of service has really gone down hill. My order has been wrong every time this year and most recently when i called about receiving cream cheese wontons instead of pork, the woman argued with me saying "you no like cream cheese whats wrong with cream cheese?" ... the fact i ordered PORK is whats wrong... bad customer service!!

Favorite place hands down. I've never had a bad experience here. Highly recommend

Today was my first visit and I am coming for sure. Great food that taste great. Easy to find and found a nice parking spot. Also it did not take long for my order to be made. Like I said the food is great.

I love Girard Wok. My favorite is the sesame chicken. I must say however that i think some things depend on who is cooking that day. Today, November 2 2019, I had the WORST fried cream cheese wontons I have ever had. They were mushy and the onion pieces were huge and raw. :( i was very disappointed.

One of the best Chinese food in the area. Beside the fact they are nice, never in a bad mood as I saw in another Chinese restaurants.

Just ordered dinner to go for us. Food was not fresh and tasted the same. Egg rolls was a joke, press with a paper towel and see what I mean. Just terrible! Will never go there again. To bad they have no idea what freshness. What a waste of money!

I’ve been going to Girard Wok my entire life. The food is always delicious, always fresh, always quick service and the staff are lovely people. Quick to help with anything and everything you ask. The prices are awesome and did I mention it’s delicious? Because it is.

I have been going to this place for years. They have exceeded my expectations this time. I ordered the spicy bourbon chicken combo and asked for the hottest they can possibly make it. Absolutely delicious. I honestly won’t order take out from any other Chinese restaurant has in the area because it’s always a letdown after trying this place. Great prices, great food, and I am an Uber Eats partnership manager so much of my day consists of trying new restaurants to add to our family. This is a must go to in the Youngstown/warren area.

I really love Girard Wok because the food is very good, the ingredients are obviously fresh and the people that work there are just delightful. If they're not terribly busy I take the time and talk with them. And they will adjust any of the recipes to your liking, for example, a vegetable that you don't like can be left out or they will also add a vegetable or something in a traditional dish that isn't usually in there, if you request it. For example, this evening I got beef with snow peas, and asked that they added bok choy, (similar to cabbage,) and they put it in there for me free of charge. They have never made any mistakes on my orders and do a a wonderful job. I would give them five thumbs up if I had that many thumbs LOL

My favorite place to get Chinese take out in the area! Great food and fast friendly service!
